Quarry Mount Summer Fair

Well, Debs, I bet you don't miss the unpredictable UK summer weather.

Yes, it's Saturday 30 June, and before Foxwood plays the Hop, I'm cycling down to local Quarry Mount Primary School. Here Chloe, Kirsten, Skye and I drag ArtForms percussionist, Jim into the steelband world, and we manage a couple of tunes before the heavens open.

Ten minutes later, normal sunny sky service is resumed, Christa and Zainaab appear and we polish off another three or four numbers. They don't need me, and I'm off. Debs, they really don't need me. They can play whole sets on their own. Heavens, they arrange songs on their own.  I am trying to but I can't tell you just how proud I am.
